SOLICITOR
Fezaa practices in Immigration, Human Rights, Divorce and Family Law matters at
Marks & Marks Solicitors in Harrow and is also a Consultant at Jan Solicitors in Crystal Palace.
Fezaa joined Marks & Marks Solicitors in 2012 and has continued her journey into law both academically and practically with the firm. Fezaa qualified as a solicitor in 2019.
Fezaa holds an LL.M Masters in Immigration & Human Rights Law and has a strong background in dealing with a wide range of matters within the scope of Immigration and Human Rights Law. Fezaa in particular has dealt with over a hundred Tribunal appeals during her time within the firm and has achieved excellent results.
Alongside her background in Immigration, Fezaa also specialises in Family and Divorce Law. Her expertise and interest have led her to becoming head of the Family department within Marks & Marks Solicitors. Her sheer dedication and commitment has enabled her to become a superbly competent practitioner within this area of law. Her down to earth and empathetic approach ensures she is able to meet her clients needs and objectives and tailor her services according to her individual clients. Fezaa is well known for her calm, personable nature to help alleviate the stress and anxiety of a family breakdown and has had an exponential growth in enquires and resultant clientele.
Fezaa takes great pride in her work and ensures that whatever she produces is of an exceptional standard. She also has a keen eye for detail and has an in-depth understanding of legal proceedings. Fezaa is able to approach matters relating to divorce, matrimonial finances, cohabitation and children with a humane, yet frank perspective.
Fezaa conducts the majority of her own advocacy in Family proceedings, including drafting court orders as well as appearing before the First-Tier tribunal in Immigration matters. If Fezaa is not conducting her own advocacy she normally attends hearings with instructed counsel to support her clients and to develop her own skills. Fezaa has built a good rapport with Barristers which assists in ensuring smooth progression of cases.
Fezaa’s developing interest in Family law has now extended into exploring marriages within Sharia and Islamic Law, particularly in unregistered marriages. She looks forward to delving further into this relatively undeveloped area of law. Her interest has recently led her to complete a course with Edinburgh University in Sharia and Islamic Law.
